Lead audit teams/assist in conducting audits, investigations and special reviews in General Audit areas (Including Treasury, Financial Institutions, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Management Support Group, Islamic Banking Group (ISBG) / Al Wifaq, Union Brokerage Company (UBC) & Alexandria Commercial & Maritime Bank (ACMB) as assigned by the Head of Audit I Deputy Head of Audit I Manager - General Audit Department, Determine whether the organizational units are performing their accounting, custodial and control activities in compliance with management instructions, applicable policies and procedures and Central bank regulations, in a manner consistent with the Bank’s objectives and and standards, Supervise conformance with acceptable audit standards, programs and budgets. Follow- up with respective Division Heads I Managers on the status of outstanding issues, and escalate where necessary. Develop I maintain relationship with field auditors from Central Bank I External Audit Firm / Abu Dhabi Audit Authority or other regulatory bodies. Develop computer assisted audit techniques (CAAT5) for operations audits using software such as ACL and Oracle-SQL to maximize the efficiency and scope of audit work I efforts by re-performing programmed procedures, analyzing data and extracting statistical samples.



5. AVP & MANAGER, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS


To establish business relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions to meet the requirements of the bank for all banking transactions and especially covering Letters of Credits, Guarantees, Payment transfers, Funding lines, Foreign Exchange lines. To source business from other Banks / Financial Institutions that is acceptable to the organization to meet the preset business targets; To analyze appropriate Banks / Financial Institutions to establish limits for use by the various operating units of the Bank to accommodate the existing and future businesses between these Institutions and the Bank; To analyze appropriate countries to establish limits for use by the various operating units of the Bank to accommodate the existing and future business. To source syndicated transactions or other such transactions favoring Banks / Financial Institutions,



6. AVP & MANAGER - CREDIT RISK


S / he will apply and validate modern future readings — quantitative Credit Risk tools and have them embedded into the day-to-day risk running process. His her domain should include adequate understanding to Expected and Unexpected loss / Credit Default Models Approach / Logic and Applications. That should include familiarity with the major Risk Components (PD/LGD and EAD) along with the ability to participate in implementing Basel II IRB approach and effectively contributes in the efforts in this respect. S/he should reasonably possess Conventional and Advanced Portfolio Management Techniques and able to translate “Best Practice” quality parameters as well as Basel II “Minimum Requirements” into a bank wide Credit Risk standards. He will assist the Head of Risk Management in Establishing a Risk-Based Credit Risk culture -Risk Code- and apply Risk Governance approach. Responsible for declaring the Bank’s Credit Risk Status; Recommends in setting the objectives and strategy for implementing proper Credit Risk Management Policy; Fundamental element in the efforts to implement quantitative Credit Risk structure approach. Help establish quantitative (Basel complied) Credit Risk Management body; Applying the most effective methodologies to minimize Credit Risk. Participate in the Credit Risk Management Self Assessment Program; Guide Operational Risk Analysts in a day-to-day basis. Practice Credit Risk Screening in a day-to-day basis at a portfolio level; Increase awareness with respect to Credit Risk Function; Design the appropriate way to identify! manage! lessen and report Credit Losses. Help enforce Credit Risk Governance and ensure proactive risk control measures effectiveness.
