JOB VACANCY with AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY , RIYADH




TRANSLATOR / RESEARCH OFFICER




Applications are invited for the proposed position of Translator/Research Officer at the Australian Embassy, Defense Section in Riyadh. Starting salary will be SR 8,905.00 (Basic SR 6,804.00, Transport SR 400.00 and Housing SR 1,701.00) per month with a scope to move up to SR 11,164 per month over years. In addition to 12 months salary in a year, one month’s basic salary is paid as a Ramadan Bonus on completion of 12 months service or pro-rata if not completed 12 months.

Job description



• Translate (Arabic/English and English/Arabic) all inwards and outwards correspondence, such as Third Person Notes, letters etc.
• Monitor the Arabic and English language media and prepare daily press summaries in English on Defense related issues.
• Liaise with Saudi Government Departments and Ministries and
other Embassies.
• Interpret for Defense Staff.
• Undertake Defense research as directed.
• Other duties as directed.

- Medical Coding Technician

- Medical Records Department



POSITION SUMMARY:



Responsible for the accurate information compiled from coded and abstracted discharged inpatient and outpatient medical records, the generation and maintenance of procedural, diagnostic and physicians indexes. This position is also responsible for support activities of the Medical Records department such as incomplete records assistance and assembly/analysis of discharged patient records.



POSITION QUALIFICATION:


Educational Requirements:


• Graduate of a recognized coding technician program or equivalent


Professional Experience:


• Minimum 5-10 years experience in a Medical Records department or equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in lCD-b and/or ICD-9-CM coding in an acute care facility
• Minimum 5 years computer experience
