Reporting to the Vice President - Purchasing, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value received from the expenditure and supplier relationships for the commodity portfolio. This will be achieved by designing and implementing sourcing strategies that assist the business to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
This role will see you use your advanced strategic procurement, financial analysis, communication and negotiation skills to source and manage suppliers and stakeholder relationships, manage complex production scheduling and achieve stringent delivery targets. You will lead a specialist team to create integrated processes between Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and outside suppliers to execute the planning and replenishment process via the MRP II and ERP systems. Furthermore, this role is responsible for identifying the systems needed to implement planning and forecasting systems a well as leading reengineering efforts as they relate to supply chain planning and execution.
You will have extensive knowledge of the global food industry, a demonstrated ability to identify and successfully introduce an innovative change culture, create lean operational environments, increase efficiencies, and improve levels of service achieved by maximizing value added opportunities.
A Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or other relevant qualification and extensive experience in Supply Chain Management is a must for this business critical position. Senior management experience in the food industry or a similar fast moving, price and quality conscious industry is preferred. OFFSHORE INSPECTION ENGINEER

Location: Qatar

Role: Assists and participates in inspecting plant stationary equipment as assigned, including structures, pressure vessels, columns, drums, heat exchangers, boilers, coolers, tanks, valves and piping systems and lifting equipment throughout the offshore installation. Enters equipment, observes conditions and makes preliminary interpretations. Assist in testing and certifying welders. Carries out as required non-destructive tests using the required instruments, tools and NDT equipment. Implements computerized inspection management program through Wincairs. Maintains inspection instruments, tools and equipment in proper working conditions. Prepares inspection reports with all findings and results.

Minimum Requirements: Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, plus 2 years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering completed. A degree in Engineering Discipline is preferred with 6 yrs exp in inspection and testing work on offshore facilities (including underwater survey on jackets and pipelines). A qualification (ASNT, COFREND or equivalent) in NDT techniques will be viewed favorably. Good written and spoken English.
