LOSS PREVENTION ENGINEER

Our client a leading LNG provider in Qatar is seeking to recruit a qualified engineer for the above position

Min Requirements: Degree holders in Chemical or Safety Engineering, an Oil and Gas operational background and at least 5 years experience of Hazops (Hazard and Operability studies), Hazids (Hazard Identification studies), QRA's (Quantified Risk Assessments), SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments review, fault trees, failure modes effects analysis. Good written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

Role: Responsible for technical HSE support for corporate LNG projects. Assist Head of Loss Prevention Engineering with the implementation of the Company loss prevention program and ensure compliance with relevant codes of practice and petrochemical industry engineering standards. Participate in or lead in-house hazard identification and risk assessment studies as appropriate and prepare related reports. Work with other groups to ensure that safety recommendations receive appropriate follow-up. Assist with scope development for externally contracted safety studies and co-ordinate review and acceptance of such studies. Monitor proposed modifications to the plant and offshore facilities which may affect safety and provide Safety Engineering input and guidance. Prepare/update safety and emergency procedures as need are identified. Assist Safety Training Co-coordinator with conduct of basic site safety training and special safety training courses as required. Assist with periodic inspection of construction, Plant Process, Operations, Offshore Producing and Drilling activities.

SENIOR MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER

Role & Qualification: Provides Maintenance Planning and Scheduling support activities for the assets (plants) through close coordination with Asset Maintenance Disciplines, Operations, Engineering and Safety. Supervises and guides a team of Maintenance Planners in their functions and takes the lead in defining. Ensures the functionality of all work flows and processes that sustain a reliable Asset Performance Management System. Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline together with minimum of 10 years planning and coordination experience / skills. Proficient in project schedule development, monitoring and control. Excellent skills in planning software applications e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera. Extensive work experience in CMMS applications and SAP. Good knowledge of Materials, their control and Warehouse procedures. Demonstrable ability of involvement in an Enterprise Asset Performance Management Process such as Meridium will be an advantage.

An oil and gas company is seeking experienced people in the related field, combining technical knowledge with sales skills, and understanding needed to competently sell Actuators and Valves and respond effectively to clients' queries.
